I keep receiving frequent calls from a number, even though I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). This number is not typical. Many of my friends have numbers that start with 0203 *** ****, which have a total of 11 digits. However, this specific number only has 10 digits. When I called it, the call was sent to voicemail and no message was left. I obtained the number by dialling 1471. Based on the reports mentioned above, it seems these calls are coming from opportunists or scammers pretending to be experts in PPI claims. I really wish something could be done to stop them.

On 9th September 2014, I received a call from someone who insisted that I had a PPI claim. I informed them that I have never had PPI, to which they boldly labeled me a dishonest person! It is quite evident that they are running a deceptive operation, solely aiming to obtain one's bank account information.
