I received a rather peculiar phone call recently, claiming I'd been offered a position in mature modelling. The person on the line inquired whether I could meet at a location in Soho, suggesting I could potentially earn £3000 on a part-time basis or an eye-watering £6000 if I went full-time. Naturally, I mentioned I needed to discuss this with my husband first, and without missing a beat, he abruptly stated that my application was declined. It struck me as quite a dodgy scam, to be honest. Oh, and as if that wasn’t enough, another call pinged through to me just ten minutes later, offering the same dubious opportunity. Quite the coincidence, wouldn’t you say?

Got a message through WhatsApp from someone claiming to be with a modelling agency for older folks. They said they want to hire me for some jobs and asked if I could send over a couple of pictures. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

My missus got a call saying she’d made the top 15 for some elderly modelling gigs, which would then be cut down to five. Before he asked for any cash, she immediately said no when he mentioned she’d have to go to Soho. They’re really pushing hard just to get your info. This happened on 15/4/23.
