Got a call from this number claiming HMRC was looking into me for not paying £3900 in taxes. Got a call earlier today from 02039000688 claiming to be the tax office. They insisted I was under investigation for owing £3900 in tax from 2015 to 2019. They wanted the details of my solicitor and warned that if I didn’t comply, my wages, mortgage, car and all assets would be frozen until I paid up. The person on the phone was really rude and told me to be quiet when I tried to ask something. I just hung up straight away.
