I got a call from an automated message claiming to be from HMRC, saying I was involved in tax fraud and told me to press 1 to talk to someone. I pressed 1, and the person on the other end started asking for my personal info and whether I had a solicitor. When I insisted they send me an official letter instead of just calling, they abruptly ended the call. No doubt, it's a total scam.
