A bloke rang me saying he was from EE, trying to sell some deal or whatever, but I’m not with EE at all, so I just told him to jog on. Couldn’t really hear him properly either, loads of noise in the background and his words were pretty jumbled.

I received a call from a chap claiming to be with T-Mobile-mind you, I don’t even have an account with them! He went on about how I'd been overcharged and was supposedly eligible for a refund. When I pressed him on the reason for the alleged overcharge, he mumbled something vague about a merger with another provider. I firmly stated that if there were any issues regarding my account, I’d prefer to sort it out face-to-face at a local branch. There was a notably long pause on his side, filled only with an awkward 'errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr', before he went dead silent. I decided it was best to end the call there.

At first I thought it was some kind of scam since I switched my O2 number to a different provider ages ago. This bloke called Sam, sounded Asian, kept asking for my email linked to O2. I played along for a bit, stringing him on over a few days. After about 5 calls, I finally told him I’m with another network now and that he’s just been wasting his time trying to get info off me!
