I took the call but hung up when the line abruptly dropped. Clearly, it was a dodgy scam attempt.

Yet another number linked to these fraudsters—surely there's a way to put a stop to all this?

Utterly dodgy! They called my 94-year-old mum at 3:44 PM on the 8th of August, 2023.

When I picked up the phone, there was absolute silence on the other end. Not a soul responded.

It's invariably around the same hour each day. Oddly enough, there are never any messages left behind.
