I received a rather peculiar call from someone claiming they needed to send a surveyor to check my loft insulation, implying it had "hazardous substances." I thought it best to just hang up and promptly blocked the number after that. Quite odd, really!

I've had a similar experience with these folks before; they wanted to send a surveyor over to check my loft insulation, claimin' that cavity wall insulation poses a hazard! It was infuriating! I ended the call, but they just wouldn't stop ringing me back! So irritating!

Received a call from that number earlier. When I rang back, I was greeted with a recorded message attempting to scam me.

She claimed to be an energy consultant working in my locality. As I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I really ought not to be getting calls from random numbers. Additionally, seeing as I’m ex-directory, it raises the question of who’s passing my details on to these companies!

I didn’t recognise the number, so I decided to let it ring. Since they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail, I’m guessing it’s just another one of those pesky sales calls trying to tug at my wallet!
