Just got a call from an 020 number again, this is the second one in a couple days. I picked up, but no one said anything for like 10 or 15 seconds then they hung up and I heard the dial tone. This has to be some sort of scam, it’s getting pretty irritating now.

I picked up my landline when it rang but no one was there, just silence and then the call dropped after a bit.

There was that typical long pause before anyone picked up after I answered. A woman with bad pronunciation was clearly reading from a script. When I told her I couldn’t make out a word she was saying, she asked if I was the homeowner. I replied, “That’s none of your concern, and I’m on the Do Not Call list, so your call is actually illegal.” Then I ended the call. At one point she muttered something about insulation, but I couldn’t catch the rest. They’re blocked now.
