Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, and the person on the other end said they were from some recruitment agency, asking if I was hiring at the moment. Sounded fishy to me, like one of those scam calls, so I just ended the call straight away, blocked the number and filed a report. Definitely felt like it came from an Indian call centre or something similar.

I ended up having to block this number. They said they were from a recruitment agency but all their emails kept going straight to my spam folder. Even after I made it clear I wasn’t interested and wouldn't be going forward with them, they kept ringing me non-stop. They were pretty pushy and rude about it too. Honestly, I don’t trust them at all, seems dodgy and like a scam to me.

He rang up saying he was from “the recruitment agency” and asked if there were any jobs open, which I told him there weren’t. Then he wanted to know if we work with agencies, and I said we do. He asked if someone who used to manage here had been employed, and I said no. At the end, he asked for an email to send details, but I didn’t give it. That was all the call was about.
