Can anyone tell me who was ringing?

Got loads of calls every day in October from this dodgy number, didn’t pick up once. After reading other folks’ comments, sounds like it’s sales from Dennis Publishing - I do get WebUser magazine from them. Thing is, I never agreed to phone calls, just emails or letters. Took me ages to figure it out but I’ve blocked the number now.

This particular number has been pestering me around three to six times daily! It's utterly maddening. Whenever I pick up, they either hang up straight away or just sit there in silence.

I’m located in Somerset and keep getting calls from them two or three times daily. If I don't pick up, they just use another number to ring back. They never leave a voicemail, so it can’t be anything urgent. I’ve ended up blocking them now.

This number from The Week magazine keeps ringing me about 3 or 4 times every day. They’re trying to push free magazines on you, but later on, they hit you up with subscription charges. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

This number keeps ringing me constantly and when I pick up, my phone gets stuck and I can't hang up normally. The only thing that works to stop the call is shutting the phone down. And blocking the number doesn’t seem to do anything. Really annoying!

I got a call from someone at Dennis Publishing about The Week magazine, which I’d subscribed to before. They offered me six free issues, saying they were just trying to promote the mag. But they didn’t tell the whole story - I’d also received a letter explaining that if I accepted, I’d get the six issues but would have to cancel actively to avoid being stuck in a new subscription deal. It’s not just a straightforward freebie. I hope they don’t keep ringing me - I meant to ask them to remove my number from their list but forgot.

The guy claimed he was sorting out the delivery for Investors Chronicle and started talking about all these special deals. I didn’t really trust him and told him no. I’ve heard there’s been some issues getting Investors Chronicle to readers lately (checked online and loads of folks moaning about it). Maybe that’s connected somehow?

Got a call from them once, I think. Honestly, best to just ignore it. No idea who they are and it's super annoying, especially if you're waiting for something important and end up picking up. Such a hassle.

Definitely a scammer. I caught on quick since I’d recently had a week where money was tight. I hung up and blocked the number, no chance I’m dealing with them again.

from what i know, the number belongs to a firm called ‘dennis publishing’ which puts out quite a few magazines. ive dealt with them before but ended up cancelling. they keep ringing with new deals tho. i can't say for sure if someone else might be misusing the number but as far as i can tell, theyre not dangerous. best bet is to not pick up cause if u do, they push you into a long sales chat that drags on for ages.

I came across Dennis Publishing advertising a complimentary trial for one of their magazines. I must say, I’m a bit sceptical about its authenticity. Is it genuinely on the level, or just a bit of a ploy?
