I finally answered one since I was fed up, and creepy thing is, the guy already knew my first name! Proper disturbing. Best to block these numbers and make sure they’re on your blacklist.

This lot’s a right scam, claiming you signed up for some forex trading thing. When I answered, all I got was hold music, but I left it ringing to see if anyone would pick up. Eventually, a bloke came on the line and said I’d responded to some campaign, trying to sell me forex stuff. When I asked for my name, he couldn’t give me one, so I reckon they just have a random list of phone numbers. If they ask for your name, just make one up and don’t give them any real info.

I picked up the phone and there was just silence, except for some music playing in the background. No one said a word.

This number has been ringing me a couple of times in the last week. Whenever I pick up, there’s just silence and then some hold music, like it’s a call centre or something. Really don’t know who they are or what they want.

I got two calls from this number, then another one from 02038854642. I picked up and a bloke with a South African accent was all friendly, going on about "your interest in investment markets". That was as far as he got before I told him to stop ringing me and then hung up.
