Got a call from a London number even though I’m based in Wales. Some lady was on about my washing machine warranty having expired. Thing is, I never even renewed it once the first one ended. Definitely don’t hand over your payment info to strangers like that.

Got a call from a London number yesterday, but as soon as I picked up, my call blocker kicked in and dropped the line after just a few mumblings. No clue who it was, but no one from that area should be calling me anyway. By the way, watch out for this sneaky BT scam where they play a recorded message telling you to press 1 or your phone will get disconnected - I’ve had at least five or six of those nuisance calls recently.

in the past week they've tried calling me 5 times but never left a voicemail, just kept ringing. super irritating!

He asked if I had a washing machine, but I gave him some random name and address I just made up. When I started laughing about how off his info was, he got a bit confused and said, "So you don't have a washing machine?" Yeah, best to just steer clear of this number!
