I received a call from this number, and I certainly wasn’t expecting it. Quite bothersome, to say the least!

Sounds like one of those dodgy "Housing disrepair" scams. They were fishing for information about any leaks, so I cheekily mentioned I had some in my garden. The lady went on and on about the way they collaborate with councils and whatnot. I ended up keeping her on the line for a good 20 minutes, chatting about my vegetable patch. My leeks have turned out splendidly this year-might even be prize winners!

I received a call claiming that £2000 had been deposited into my account, and that I was a winner. I immediately dismissed it as nonsense. The person on the other end responded with a rather rude "shut up, you utter idiot!"
