I’m so fed up with these calls. Got about five today and the last one or two digits were always just a bit different. Seriously, why can’t there be a law or something to put an end to this?? Loads of vulnerable folks fall for these con artists, so the authorities need to crack down and make it illegal for these scumbags to operate!! Properly annoyed here!!!

Got a call from this number earlier. I sent it straight to voicemail. They didn’t leave any message but you could hear some call centre noise in the background. Those numbers all sound alike, so I’ve learnt to just ignore them now.

Claimed to be AMS accident management services, but this business shut down like 10 years ago. Asked them to verify my insurance provider, and they couldn’t. Then they just hung up on me. Total scam. Best to block and avoid.

Got a call again, second time in a couple days. First I spoke to a woman for a quick chat before she handed me over to her manager. The number was from London but when I asked, he said he was ringing from Liverpool. Both sounded South African. He asked if I’d talked to a lawyer about my case, and that’s when I told him what I really thought.

***BEWARE OF SCAMS / FRAUDULENT CALLERS*** Just a quick tip - if you’re unable to block the number straight away by typing it in (like when it’s not the usual 11 digits), try finding it in your call history instead. On BT Call Protect, you can select it there, or if you’re using an iPhone, go to the phone app, then Recents, tap the “i” info next to the number, scroll down and hit “Block this Caller.” That’s worked for me every time! 😊
