3 yearsHad a call from a number I don't recognise and unfortunately can't return the call.3 yearsI received a call from someone who claimed to be named William, apparently offering me a 50% discount on O2 services. When I pretended to be a police officer and mentioned I could trace his number, he suddenly began shouting, “Oh, oh, oh, how creative! You really are something else!” Quite amusing, really! 😂William3 yearsSome bloke called himself William from O2, said I could get half off my bill. Told him I was with the police and could trace his phone. He goes, “Wait, you can track me? Well, f*** off then!” 😂William3 yearsThey claimed to be from O2, but it was total rubbish!3 yearsThat was definitely a con job, haha.3 yearsJust got that call as well, told him I could see him and he started calling me stupid, then asked what colour my t-shirt was. Kept calling me stupid after that lol 🤣3 yearsGot a call from 02, or so they claimed, but called them back on 02 and it wasnt them. Be careful and dont share your info with these people!024 yearsGot a call from someone claiming they wanted to make sure I was on the right broadband plan. They did bring up SKY, which is who I use. Told them to ring me another time and then just went ahead and blocked the number!4 yearsI believe they introduced themselves as Independent Review or something similar. They claimed they wanted to have a look over my life insurance with Aviva, but as far as I know, I don’t hold any Aviva policies. There was loads of background noise, nearly making it impossible to hear the person on the phone. The person speaking had quite bad English and appeared to be coached by someone else nearby. I told them straight up I wasn’t interested in any sort of review, so they just thanked me and dropped the call pretty fast. To me, it doesn’t seem like a genuine call centre. I’ve gotten multiple calls from various 020 numbers, and although I block each one, they clearly run several lines at once.Independent ReviewAvivaSubmit Your Own Report (020 3883 0443)
