I got two calls within a couple of hours from this number, and they left a message on my voicemail telling me to ring back or they'd take legal action. The calls came through on my mobile here in Perth, Scotland.

These scammers are really horrible. I wouldn't recommend calling them back at all. Instead, make sure you report the number straight away to HMRC as they’re tracking this kind of fraud. You'll want to note down the time they rang, the phone number, and what they said in the message to help with their investigation.

So annoying, totally a scam and really stressful to deal with.

This number just rang me up, saying we need to ring back straight away on 0203 8807472 and speak with someone called Dennis Gray. They pretended to be from HMRC and warned about legal trouble, saying a solicitor handling the case must get in touch. Total nonsense if you ask me. Best to ignore it completely.

Got a call from a woman with a robotic voice claiming to be from hmrc, said I had to ring her back straight away. Total scam.

Got a call from 0203 880 7412 today, saying I was involved in some fraud thing! I told them I’d call back myself since I’ve always been on PAYE with no extra assets or anything, then they just hung up. I did give them my name and address though, so I’m a bit concerned now.

Got a call from what sounded like HMRC but it was obviously one of those dodgy automated messages saying I had to ring back straight away. Definitely a scam, watch out!
