Today, I got a rather dodgy automated call from this number, purporting to be associated with HMRC. The automated voice warned me that I might land in hot water if I didn’t press 1 to speak to someone for more details. I can’t be the only one thinking this can’t possibly be the real HMRC!

Got a call earlier today claiming it was from HMRC, saying I'd got some investigation going on. Total scam, don't fall for it!

I got a voicemail from someone threatening legal action if I didn’t call them back. They never said who they were or what it was about. Obviously, I ignored it and didn’t bother return the call.

Got a call from this number earlier today, but I didn’t pick up and it went straight to voicemail. When I checked the message, it was some automated voice claiming to be from HMRC, warning me I’d “face consequences” if I didn’t ring back. Number’s now blocked.

Pretty sure it was a telemarketer ringing me up trying to sell kitchen gadgets. I’m not sure if it was some kind of scam or just a genuine call, but I wasn’t interested so I just said no thanks. He said alright then and hung up straight away.

Just got one of those HMRC scam calls again, pretty much identical to the one from 02039234885. Really annoying how they keep trying the same tricks!
