Got a call from someone claiming to be Officer Laura Hawkins at Inland Rev. She was using this Steven Hawkins voice synthesiser thing and said she had urgent info for me. Sounds like a complete scam, so I’ve blocked the number straight away.

Had a call from some automated woman saying she was Laura from the tax office in the US or something. The whole thing sounded so dodgy that I just cut it off before she finished. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

I got a call from someone claiming they were with the Inland Revenue, but it was clearly a recorded message. Honestly, how stupid do these scammers think we are? They even told me to get my lawyer involved - what a pathetic attempt to fool innocent people. Really grateful for your site, it helps a lot in figuring out what’s legit and what’s just another con.
