Got a call from someone claiming I had to renew a Thames Water plumbing cover I supposedly took out back in 2017! That’s complete rubbish since I’ve never agreed to any plumbing protection plan with them. Total scam if you ask me.

My daughter just got a call from a number claiming to be the water company, saying something about needing emergency water. Then they hung up straight away. When she looked up the number, it turned out to be a scam. Bit creepy that they had her name and our address though.
