It's a shame, but we dont pick up calls from any number we dont know anymore. They can leave a voicemail if they want, though no one ever does. I looked this one up on here and blocked it straight away. This week alone we've had three different 0203 numbers ring us. The other two havent shown up on this site yet, but Ive blocked them as well just to be safe.

Somebody called saying they were from Microsoft and needed me to sign in so they could scan my PC for viruses. I told them I was using a Mac instead, and then they asked if it was a “Microsoft Mac”. I just laughed out loud and then the person started swearing before hanging up. Definitely not the best service I’ve had, that’s for sure.

Got a call from a woman who said her name was Jenny and claimed to be from some Windows Tech support place. She asked me how I was doing. I told her my computer's fine, thanks, and so am I. Then, she just ended the call straight away! Funny, huh?

This bloke threatened me that if I didn’t do what he said, the cops would be called to nick me. I told him my husband’s the Head of IT Security, but he just laughed and said my hubby’s useless and clueless! He even knows where I live and was properly creepy. Typical scam from those 'Windows' folks from Asia. Best thing to do is pretend you’re interested and keep them chatting, or say you didn’t catch what they said and drag it out for like 15 minutes. That way they’re tied up and can’t bug someone else. Eventually, some poor sod will still get caught out. The more we mess with these scammers, the better it feels!

A few weeks back, I reported this number as a scam and blocked it. Truecaller seems to stop it every time it tries, but they've still called me about 7 times now - not once have they actually gotten through.

I received a rather dubious phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft Office Technical Support. They insisted that I had been inundated with some sort of malicious emails, both incoming and outgoing. I was quick to inform them that everything was perfectly fine with my email accounts; no issues whatsoever! Undeterred, they requested that I sit at my computer to follow their instructions and press various buttons. However, I decided to humour them instead. Eventually, I revealed that I have IT qualifications and told them outright that they were indeed a scam and nothing more than despicable scammers. At that point, they promptly hung up.
