I ended up losing £828 to these fraudsters, so I’d really suggest you report it to actionfraud.police.uk. Better to get it on record and maybe help catch them.

Beware of these scammers! They’re really quick to get your booking details through their chat and promise you tickets, but once you pay the final amount, they just block your calls. I got tricked and lost £580 to them. Here’s one of their dodgy bank accounts they use to steal from unsuspecting travellers. If you come across this account, please make sure to report it to the police. Bank Info: Metro Bank Account Holder: H Imran Account No: 24968227 Sort Code: 23-05-80 I also looked the company up on Company House and found the active director is Syed Ali Ayaan HAIDER. He’s based at 39 Gatewick Close, Slough, SL1 3SE and was born May 1976, of Pakistani background. Avoid doing business with any firms linked to him, including Kalemba Design Limited. Stay safe everyone!

Back in August 2017, I put down a deposit for a flight to Ghana, planning to go in December. I ended up dealing with a guy named John Martin, who was Indian. He asked me to pay the full ticket amount into a personal account, which I said no to. He promised he’d ring me in a week with the official business bank details, but that never happened. By November 2017, they stopped answering calls and emails altogether. They scammed me out of £100, and if you check your bank, you’ll spot a transaction from “ProHealth in Texas” - they might even try hacking your account. This travel agency is run by a bunch of Indians - people like John, Alex, Eric and Ahmad. You can tell their names aren’t really proper English. They’ll take your cash but won’t actually sort your flight bookings. The number to watch out for is 020 3874 8188 - keep well clear of it! Seriously, don’t deal with www.wintravel.co.uk!
