Got a phonecall at work from someone trying to pretend they were the ink supplier we usually use - total scam.

Got a dodgy call from someone going on about my printer ink - trying to trick me into ordering from them by pretending they're my usual supplier. Proper sneaky sales job. When I asked to speak to their manager, they claimed the caller was new and didn’t realise I wasn’t an existing customer. Complete nonsense if you ask me.

Got a call asking if I needed ink for my printer, then they just dropped the call on me. Pretty sure it was one of those scam calls.

I got a call from this friendly bloke named Ben from Wales, but he was actually trying to squeeze money out of my business!

Totally a con, no doubt about it. But gotta admit, he somehow dug up our company location on Google and, funnily enough, actually followed through by sending chocolates after saying he would lol.

Got a phone call from some bloke named Dan - though his accent didn’t really match - claiming to be from a company selling printer ink. He wanted to check our toner levels. I asked him which printer he meant, and he said the main one straight away, which was a bit suspicious. I told him we’ve got a few printers, and then he said the nearest one - definite red flag there! When I asked which copier he was referring to, he said it was the Ricoh one, but we don’t have any Ricoh printers here. After that, he admitted he must’ve dialled the wrong number and ended the call.

It’s defo a scam - I told them to say who they were and they just hung up. Best to just block and move on.

Got a call from someone enquiring about whether we had spare ink cartridges for our printer. We have a deal with a supplier who sorts our printers and ink, so I asked if he was calling from that company. Right after I said that, he just ended the call.

Got a call from a guy who said he was Mr Tom, asking about how much we needed. He asked for my work email but never actually went ahead with taking any payment. Bit odd really.

So this guy from "The Printer Ink Company" called me at 10am and said "Good afternoon," which was a bit odd. He was asking about my printer ink levels. When I told him to give me a phone number so I could ring back later, he passed me some 0345 number. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call from a bloke saying he worked for some printer ink firm, sounded proper touchy when I told him we don’t go with them. Said his name was Ben or something. Could hear other folks chatting away in the background, seemed dodgy to me.

We had a call at our shop from 02038748019 claiming they were from Franking Limited. They seemed to already have all our info, even our address, which was quite unsettling! They tried to push some cartridges for a franking machine. It felt like a really strange experience.

Got a call from them earlier, asking loads of questions about our printer and wanted the model number plus our email. Since our printers are already tracked, any outsider wouldn't really know that stuff. The second he realised we'd caught on, he quickly ended the call.

This number keeps ringing our school over and over, trying to push franking machine supplies. I’ve nicely asked to be taken off their calling list, then I even told the bloke directly to stop phoning. Still, the very same guy keeps calling every single time! Now, as soon as I spot the number, I just hang up straight away.

Got a call from some frankin machne firm, bloke sounded really thick Indian accent, kept insisting to speak to the 'person in charge... right now'. I told him no chance and tried to tell him we're not interested. As I was mid sentence, he just went and hung up! Not surprised if he rings back in a few weeks, this number pops up loads. Proper rude and not at all genuine, we've already got a deal with another company.

Got calls nearly every month from this bloke trying to flog us toner cartridges. He kept asking if our toner had run out, not realising our printer orders new ones by itself when supplies run low. When I started quizzing him a bit, he just cut the call abruptly. Proper scam, that one.

Got a call from someone speaking with a strong Indian accent, looking for a 'Charlie' at our front desk - never had anyone by that name here. They then started asking about our franking machine, which we haven't touched in ages, and ended by saying they wanted to send over some chocolates. Sounds fishy, maybe a scam or just spam?
