Got a call from a number saying they were with 118, I just told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call. After seeing what others have said about it being a scam, I’m pretty sure it was. So I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now. Really annoying! 🤬

I told him he’d got the wrong number and he kept asking, "So this isn’t a business account? It’s just for personal use?" I said "No, it’s personal," then he just hung up on me. This was definitely a scam. They’ve tried calling a couple of times before with the same business account story. First time I told them off, second time I just ignored it. I only picked up this time by mistake.

So this morning, I got a call from this number asking for the person in charge of the business. I tried to find out what the call was regarding, but the guy - sounded like he was South Asian - just kept insisting on speaking to the business owner. When I pressed again for details, he abruptly ended the call. Definitely felt like it was leading to some kind of scam. I’d stay clear of picking up if this number rings you.
