2 monthsGot a call yet again from someone claiming to be Amazon. I’d already asked them to take my number off their list, but obviously, they reckon those instructions don’t count for them. Such persistent scammers!Amazon2 monthsGot a call from a lady with an Indian accent saying she was from Amazon. She wanted to discuss my business account, but I don’t even have one with Amazon. When I told her that and mentioned Amazon never makes cold calls, she just started hesitating loads, saying "umm" and "err" over and over. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.Amazon2 monthsSomeone claimed they were from Amazon and kept saying my mate told them to ring back today. Total rubbish, so I’ve blocked the number.Amazon3 monthsGot a call from a woman with an Indian accent pretending to be from Amazon. She was asking about a coworker who’s off sick. She kept saying my mate had said to call back today, but I know her well enough and she wouldn’t have agreed to that. She was desperate to know if she could ring back tomorrow or maybe next week. I told her she could try next week but no guarantees because “illness can’t exactly be scheduled.” She didn’t seem to get the message, so we’ll just ignore any more calls from her.Amazon6 monthsNot sure what to make of this call. Someone rang saying they were from Amazon, trying to connect a personal account to a business one. We’re playing it safe, though. From what I’ve read online, Amazon usually doesn’t make cold calls. They’ve been quite pushy, phoning four times in just a few days.Amazon10 monthsGot a call from someone saying they were from Amazon, asking if I needed help sorting out my account settings. Felt a bit iffy about it.AmazonSubmit Your Own Report (020 3872 3970)
