Someone rang, knew my name straight away but as soon as I asked who it was, they just put the phone down. Strange behaviour.

This number keeps calling and leaving messages on my elderly mum’s answerphone. It starts with a recorded voice saying “your call matters to us,” then some bloke just repeats her name loads of times, not saying who he is or what it’s about. It’s really annoying, so I’ve blocked the number now. Honestly, what’s wrong with people? They’re just harassing her with no reason. These scammers and telemarketers are awful, and I wish the law would be stricter on these kinds of people and their companies.
