Just got a call like that as well - they said someone’s keeping an eye on my house. I reckon that’d scare anyone who doesn’t know it’s a hoax. I’m planning to take it to the police later on.

I got a voicemail from 020 3870 3676 saying I’m a main suspect in some investigation and that someone’s been watching my house. They told me to ring back to talk about it more. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone pretending to be the tax office, saying I owed tax they claimed was from eight years back. They warned that if I didn’t pay straight away, the police would be coming and I'd face a fine of £22,000. Total scam!
