Just got a weird call from someone pretending to be from housing maintenance. They were talking about problems in my home and then asked if I was renting privately or from the council. When I pointed out that if they’re maintenance they should already have that info, the bloke with an Indian accent just ended the call on me. Dodgy as anything!

Got a dodgy call recently claiming to be from maintenance about some problems in my house. They started asking if I was renting privately or through the council. When I questioned why they’d need to ask that if they’re supposed to be from maintenance, the bloke on the other end just hung up straight away. From the accent, sounded like an Indian fella. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.
