Just got a weird call from someone pretending to be from housing maintenance. They were talking about problems in my home and then asked if I was renting privately or from the council. When I pointed out that if they’re maintenance they should already have that info, the bloke with an Indian accent just ended the call on me. Dodgy as anything!

Just had another dodgy phone call. They claimed to be from a maintenance team, saying there were problems in my home. Then, they asked me whether I was renting privately or through the council. I pointed out that if they were truly from maintenance, they ought to already have that information before calling. At that point, the chap with an Indian accent abruptly disconnected the call.
