I received a call where the person on the other end asked me if I’d ever been stung financially by a company I had faith in. I replied with a firm “no” and then she followed up with “by the way, how old are you?” At that point, I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up. It’s entirely possible they’re recording these chats to capture your voice for some nefarious purposes, like identity theft. I’d strongly advise against engaging with such callers.
