They go by the name "Motoring Advice Centre (MAC)", yet it’s quite the ruse, I reckon. They were in possession of my name, car registration, accident date, and naturally my phone number too. They were trying to persuade me to declare that we had sustained injuries in the incident, promising a hefty sum in the four-figure range, supposedly already set aside for us, but somehow we hadn't laid claim to it yet. They even asked for the registration of the other party involved, claiming it was missing from the accident claim details. Quite clearly, this was merely a tactic to approach the other party's insurance firm to pursue this supposed claim.
