Curiosity got the better of me, and I made the call-much to my regret! A gentleman answered, though I suspected he was quite a distance from the UK, and his command of English was less than stellar. He seemed eager to “assist” with my supposed issue, but to do so, he insisted on establishing a direct connection between our computers so he could view my screen. Feeling uneasy, I hesitated, which only seemed to irritate him. Ultimately, I decided to end the conversation.
