Honestly, watch out for these guys! They’ll try to get into your computer and control it. Don’t give them any access. I always Google the number first before even thinking about picking up.

Has anyone called these people without handing over their card details? Like, if you just chat to them but don’t give any payment info, do they still sneak money off you or charge your account anyway? Just curious how it works.

Absolutely awful experience! My phone froze out of nowhere, and there was a message telling me to ring a certain number. Thinking my device was infected, I called them up. The bloke on the other end was really rude and demanded £100 to sort out the problem. He refused to tell me any company details or even his own name - just kept pushing for my cash. Total con. Don’t fall for it, just get in touch with your service provider instead.

Some dodgy lot locked up my computer screen and told me to ring a certain number to con money off me. Another number involved was 08000903853. Stay well clear of these scams!
