Didn’t know the number so I just ignored it. It’s probably another scam or phishing attempt. I’m always having to block numbers but they just keep on coming. This problem is well out of hand and the government don’t seem bothered at all. I reckon folks should be a bit more wary when answering as loads of people end up getting scammed because they trust these calls too easily.

I’ve had endless calls about Bitcoin scams lately, it’s ridiculous. I’ve blocked loads of different numbers and reported most of them to the ICO, but it feels like it’s never gonna stop. Honestly, I wish Ofcom would make it so that each phone number costs like £5 to register. Then if someone complains about a number for harassment, the victim gets that £5 back and the number gets cancelled, so anyone new wanting that number would have to pay again. That way, at least I’d get something back for all the time these scam calls have wasted.

These London calls keep coming through asking for Mary Poppins, and it's driving me mad. Every time I block one, another pops up from a different number. I'm sorting out my dad's estate and funeral at the moment, so I can't just ignore unknown calls. Still, I'd say it's best to not pick up on these because they seem to only keep ringing back if you do.

I got two calls from this number today, they asked me my name and where I live. They wanted to know if I use gas and electric. When I asked where they got my number from, they started asking even more questions. I told them to stop and then they just hung up on me.

This number has been ringing my home phone more than four times daily without fail. It appears to be an Indian call centre, attempting to persuade me that there's a virus plaguing my computer. They claim to have some sort of insider knowledge and are reaching out to assist me. It's quite clear they're scammers operating from overseas, so I'm uncertain what can actually be done about this. I've taken to answering the calls and placing the receiver down on the kitchen counter, requesting them politely to cease their calls, then trying a less courteous approach, and eventually resorting to more vehement language. Yet, despite all my efforts, they persist in bombarding me with these unsolicited scam attempts.

Both calls started from a number with 00... at the front. The first time they rang, it was someone with a really heavy accent giving tax tips. The next call was about money management advice. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call from someone saying they're from the cab company asking if I owed any money. I didn’t say a thing. Later on, I rang the actual cab firm and they told me they wouldn’t be calling about debts like that. No idea who that caller was or what they were after, but they certainly didn’t get anything out of me!
