Some bloke rang me up and first off wanted my name, then suddenly started asking for my bank info to pay for some iPhone security software. I got a weird vibe straight away and said there’s no way I’m sharing that stuff on the phone. Ended the call pretty sharpish.

I ran into a similar problem with my phone recently. When I rang the number, some bloke with a really thick Indian accent claimed he was from Apple’s global support team. He kept trying to get me to pay £20 for an update to my phone’s system. Haha, not falling for that one! Thankfully, I managed to sort things out myself by using Google Chrome online. Glad I found the fix here instead of falling for the scam.
