They called me saying it was something about a contract scam, claiming I had three of them or something. Felt really fishy to me.

I really doubt it was MacMillan. You should never share your details with someone who rings up out of the blue. Definitely don’t hand over your bank info, no matter how convincing they seem or how good the cause sounds. If you want to donate, just go straight to the charity’s official website and do it there, and make sure to add gift aid too.

They didnt leave any message, so I’m pretty sure it’s just another scam call.

This is the fifth time they've rung me in just three days, always between 3 and 5 in the afternoon. Maybe thats when they get to the people with surnames starting with later letters. They never leave a voicemail, and once I answered, the line just went silent.
