I’ve been receiving persistent sales calls lately, and amusingly, they seem to have popped up right after a disagreement I had with Amazon about purchasing a gift card. It’s rather odd that they’re asking me to download an app as well. This really ought to be taken seriously; I was quite astute in spotting it. They could potentially gain access to your account through this setup. There’s a tool called TeamViewer, or something similar, that allows them to create the illusion that someone is engaging in fraudulent activity on your account by adding items to your basket. Do exercise caution, folks!
