This morning, I received a rather suspicious phone call from someone identifying himself as Anthony. He claims to be affiliated with an investigation firm looking into trading loss scams. It seems he was offering assistance to individuals who had supposedly been defrauded. He attempted to persuade me to complete a survey and requested some personal details. To be honest, I have zero knowledge of trading and have never been mixed up in any such activities. I’ve certainly not been scammed in the past. It feels like this chap is merely preying on those who have been duped before.

There’s been a rather dodgy operation going on involving a South African Bitcoin scam linked to a firm called Interecepter. I've taken the liberty to report them to the National Fraud Helpline for further investigation.

I received a rather dubious call earlier from a so-called investigation firm claiming to assist those who've fallen victim to scammer losses. They wanted details on my alleged losses and the scammers involved. I refrained from sharing any personal information and instead probed them about their understanding of the TPS database. They seemed utterly clueless, which only reinforced my suspicion that they were just another bunch of con artists. I mentioned my registration with TPS as a solid lead, but it was clear they were scrambling for a way to salvage their scam. Moreover, the number they flashed on my screen turned out to be uncontactable, which raised my eyebrows even further. In an attempt to lure me in, they did offer me a mobile or WhatsApp contact, but I reminded them that using illegitimate numbers was against the law. At that point, they abruptly ended the call. I've since blocked the number to avoid any further nonsense.
