I got this number from a random website pop-up saying my computer had a virus and that I should ring them. Total scam! Please don’t ring it. If you do, they’ll likely try to get you to install some remote access program so they can take control of your PC, cause all sorts of problems and maybe nick your personal info and passwords. Stay well away from it.

like others have said, dont trust this number at all. my bullguard hopefully got rid of it from my computer.

Was on my computer when suddenly a message popped up saying "your computer is blocked," with some weird voice recording going on asking for my card details. Tried to shut the tab but it just wouldn't close, so I had no choice but to power it down. Definitely one of those nasty scams.

Got a text from this number warning me that my info was in danger and telling me to call back. Obviously, I ignored it and didn’t ring the number.

If you're thinking about ringing these guys, don't bother. It's obviously a con. Microsoft wouldn't show such a dramatic warning like that. Just shut the tab with the number on it and steer clear of them - they're just after your cash.
