I got a call from someone saying they were from TalkTalk tech support. They told me there were issues with my router and that others might be trying to get into it! Then they asked for my personal info, which seemed suspicious. When I asked which number they were calling from, the line just got cut off straight away!

This number rang me a couple of times but I didn’t pick up at first. When I finally did, the person on the other end had a strange accent and kept addressing me as Mr followed by my first name. It felt like a call centre and they told me I’d supposedly been in the Euro lottery but hadn’t won anything. When I asked for more info, they somehow already had all my personal details like my address, DOB, email and full name. They mentioned something about a syndicate and that’s when I decided to just hang up. Seemed like a total scam to me and it was quite unsettling how much info they had.

So today I got about 13 calls, all saying they're from the Euro Millions lottery. You can tell straight away it's just some call centre ringing up.

Got calls coming through non stop, like five yesterday and four today. After the last one I told them I'd report them to the cops if they kept ringing. Not even five minutes later a different number was on the line. They really don't know when to quit. Had to block both numbers now.
