Perhaps it was just a lucky guess, or maybe he had a peek at the shareholder register. The spiel he delivered was nearly a carbon copy of the first call, and he began probing for information regarding my ownership duration of the shares. That's when we decided to hang up. The caller asserted that I possess shares in British Petroleum and mentioned that a report for shareholders has been postponed. Strangely enough, he claimed I've held these shares for nearly three decades! It's rather puzzling as to why I haven’t heard a peep about them all these years.
