I usually wait for them to say something first, coz if not, sometimes I get these auto-dial spam calls and they just end up awkwardly quiet on the other side. It's funny how they get all tangled when there's nothing coming from me!

This number, 02038679847, has called me thrice in the last few minutes. When I answered the first call, there was nothing but silence. Then on the second, a man named David started talking about some government scheme for home and underfloor insulation. I told him I wasn’t interested and hung up. They tried again a third time but I just let the phone ring out. I’ve since blocked them.

Got a call from some spammer mentioning government grants for insulation and boilers, clearly trying to scam info out of me. The moment I questioned them, they just ended the call. Definitely best to block these numbers.
