Got a call on my landline from a bloke with an English accent. He actually knew my name and said he was with sdt, ringing about some washing machine service deal. As soon as I asked “which deal?” he just cut me off. Honestly, the fact these muppets keep ringing up out of nowhere makes me think the telephone preference service and Ofcom are completely useless.

I got a call from a man asking for a woman who isn't at this address. I told him she doesn't live here, but he insisted he had urgent info for her. When I explained again she wasn’t here, he replied with something like “if you want to say that, then so be it.” I thought that was really rude and pointless, so I told him off and he just hung up. Seemed like a typical call centre guy, well-spoken but annoying.

Got a call from some bloke with an English accent claiming to be from ServiceStreet. He said he was ringing about my washing machine insurance and even got my address spot on. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I’ve been getting quite a few calls recently where as soon as I pick up, they just end the call. Sometimes, there’s a voice speaking in what I think might be Chinese or something similar, but I’ve got no clue what they’re saying.
