According to him, my washing machine's warranty was approaching its renewal date, and he was eager for me to subscribe for just £9.99 a month. However, it struck me as odd that he couldn’t specify the brand or model of my washing machine, and he feigned ignorance about such details. Yet, he was quite willing to sell me an extended warranty for a vague, unidentified appliance! Eventually, it became clear that I was having too much fun pointing out his absurdity, which prompted him to cut the call short.
