Definitely a scam - lots of folks know not to put their birthday and personal stuff out there online, but what they don’t realise is how risky it can be when other places, maybe ones they trust, pass along their info without them really knowing what might happen next.

Something like this happened to me too, just like someone else mentioned here - I got a call about a job I never even put an application in for. I decided not to reply, but I reckon folks should watch out, not just for what this company might be up to, but also for the risk that other companies, which seem trustworthy, could end up sharing your info...

This number rang me up claiming I’d put in a job application for a role in the city, but I’m pretty sure I never did. I was a bit wary and asked when exactly I supposedly applied, and the bloke gave me a date. He said he’d send me the application details right away by email, but I never got anything.

Got a call from some dodgy agency claiming to have a job opening. I rang the company they mentioned, and they confirmed they don’t use any agencies for hiring - everything goes through their own website. Then this ‘agency’ wanted me to pay £200 for a couple of pointless training sessions that the real employer doesn’t even acknowledge or ask for. Stay clear of these scammers. I've reported them to the cops.

I got a call about a job ad I saw on Gumtree, but the person on the phone didn’t really know much about the position. Instead of discussing the job properly, they wanted me to pay for some training first, even though I wasn’t even hired yet. The company is named LDN Recruitment.

Beware, this number pretends to be a legit job agency. It's all a sham to trick you into giving away your details. Don't fall for it, it's definitely a scam. I got a call from some guy who goes by 'legend useless boy' and he was just pestering me nonstop. Avoid these people!

Got calls from this young guy calling himself Legend, said he found my CV online and wanted to offer me a job. Kept ringing me asking for stuff like my passport info, certificates, and even my bank details. But there was never any real job or work involved. I also chatted with a few others pretending to be HR people, but nothing came of it and they denied ever receiving my personal documents. Feels like a total scam to me. I've already handed everything over to the police.

Got a call from someone named Legend who said they found my CV on the internet. But really, they just wanted my passport info and other personal stuff to steal my identity and pull off fraud. There’s no real job or agency behind it. Total scam.

020 3865 4773 from London keeps ringing me claiming to be some sort of job agency. They say they have a job offer, but honestly, it feels like they just want your personal details to scam you. I’d seriously advise not picking up if they call. It’s all a bit dodgy.
