A rather bothersome individual just contacted us, wanting to connect with the accounts team as if they were a legitimate caller. Then, out of the blue, they launched into a pitch about their foreign exchange services, despite their claim of not actually selling anything! It's quite clear we’re not on any list, yet they assert they’ve "discovered" our company and are keen to assist us. As if we’d take any interest in partnering with someone who begins with such blatant dishonesty! This outfit, TCL, seems to pop up frequently online, having garnered a rather poor reputation for their rather unpleasant cold calling methods. And what’s worse, they simply refuse to cease calling, no matter how often we express our lack of interest. Their stubbornness is quite remarkable. Perhaps a good tactic is to leave them hanging on the line while you carry on with your day. Absolute fools!
