I'm pretty convinced this was a SCAM call. The person on the line claimed I wouldn't get ripped off, said I pay my phone bill by direct debit, and mentioned an expiry date like ??/??. They also tried to confirm my name, which I couldn't really make out properly because of their accent. I stayed silent, and then they oddly asked again for the card expiry date, even though they just mentioned a date. I told them I wasn’t sharing that info since it’s private, and they hung up straight away! I’ve now blocked this number.
