Somebody rang me up about setting up a no-cost health check at home. I don’t know these people at all, so why on earth would I allow them in my house to check on me or my insurance?!

I received a call from a woman with an Asian accent asking about investments. Naturally, I asked for her identity. She responded with a rather unclear three-letter moniker that I couldn’t quite catch. I then informed her that I needed an upfront payment of £25, followed by £100 for every hour thereafter, and requested her banking information. To my surprise, she hung up on me! Clearly, it was a blatant scam attempt.
