I received a call the other day where they were pestering me about some sort of survey regarding the UK economy. I mentioned I was busy and didn’t have a moment to spare, and instead of taking the hint, they kept pushing for a more suitable time. After I politely declined a few times, the woman on the line resorted to calling me an idiot several times before abruptly cutting off the call. Clearly, I’ve no intention of engaging with that number again and will be blocking it straight away. Should they try to reach out again on the same topic, I'll simply hang up without hesitation.
