Got a call from someone trying to push a call blocking service for annoying callers. Honestly, sounded like a total scam to me. They even knew my name, which was a bit creepy. Pretty sure the call was coming from overseas, probably some dodgy call centre in the background. Watch out for this one!

This number has rang me loads over the last few months. I don’t usually answer unknown numbers, and most of my calls end up straight on voicemail. If they don’t leave a message or don’t show up on my contacts, I just bin it without a second thought. So I’ve no clue what kind of scam it might be, but it’s not really irritated me or wasted my time. Same thing happens with both my mobile and landline.

Some bloke called Kevin, claimed he was from India, started asking me loads of questions. When I told him I wasn’t gonna answer, he suddenly got really rude. I tried to say goodbye, but he kept getting more hostile, so I just hung up. What freaked me out the most was that he already knew my name and where I lived.

Today a bit after 9 this morning, i got another call, but honestly this has been happening loads lately, like several times daily. Most call arrive around 9am or during working hours, so it feels like its probably some sales person. It rings my landline, not my mobile. Usually i miss it so goes to answerphone, but no message ever gets left - it always hangs up part way through, which makes me even more sure it's some telemarketer.
