I got a call from someone claiming to be Barclays, saying there’d been dodgy activity on my Barclaycard linked to a Dell purchase. They asked me to repeat a 6-digit code, but I wasn’t having any of it. They kept pushing, even asking for two forms of ID before cancelling the transaction. I called them out as a scammer and ended the call. After that, I phoned the number on my card and they confirmed it was a fraud attempt. They’ve since blocked my card and are sending a replacement.
