Got a call from a guy named Adam with a really thick Indian accent. Honestly, he was so hard to follow I couldn’t work out what department he was even from. I caught the words British Telecom in there somewhere, and it was obviously one of those classic BT scams. They try to trick you into letting them get into your computer so they can steal your personal info and bank details. The whole thing was about some supposedly dodgy use of your broadband and a warning that they’d cut off your service unless you let them “inspect” your PC. Proper dodgy.
